Suseo High-Speed Train Guide (2026): Departures from Gangnam, KTX Integration & Booking

When international travelers plan a high-speed bullet train trip from Seoul to Busan or Gyeongju, almost everyone immediately searches for departures from Seoul Station.

However, savvy locals and seasoned travelers based in southern Seoul frequently choose Suseo Station (수서역) instead.

Historically operated by SR Corporation under the dedicated SRT (Super Rapid Train) brand, Suseo Station was built as the dedicated bullet train gateway for southern Seoul. Following the 1 September 2026 high-speed rail integration, operations and ticketing are unified under Korail:

• “Where is Suseo Station located, and why is it superior if you are staying in Gangnam, Jamsil, or Seongsu?”
• “How do you book high-speed trains departing Suseo following the unified service launch?”
• “What amenities and transit connections can you expect at Suseo Station?”

Here is the definitive 2026 local guide to riding high-speed trains from Suseo Station, subway connections, and unified Korail booking.
